The Oak cabinet is made from a combination of solid European oak and European oak veneers. The design is reminiscent of antique Chinese cabinets dating back to the Ming dynasty.
Inside the cabinet the are two rows of adjustable glass shelving. The shelves are made from 6mm toughened glass with notched cut out to allow for adjustment. Bellow the shelves are two drawers with Cedar of Lebanon bases.
The oak cabinet was made with traditional hand cut jointing techniques. The frame is a traditional mortise and tenon style, whilst the drawers are made with hand cut dovetails.
It is the details that make a piece of furniture that bit more special. From a tactile door handle to beautifully rounded or chamfered edges, these are the things that stand out with hand crafted furniture.
